dc.description.abstract The global effects of Social Networking Sites are expanding, and Bangladesh is no exception. Presently, using Social Networking Sites has become a routine work of corporate people. Therefore, corporate conglomerates are facing a significant challenge to effectively use Social Networking Sites to retain employees’ attention during working hours. It is impacting corporate people’s personal and social life also. The main objective of this research is to examine the effects of Social Networking Sites on corporate individuals in Bangladesh, exactly on their personal, social, and corporate life. Accordingly, the gaps in the current literature are identified. Following that, a research model and three hypotheses are developed based on the evaluation of the literature. A survey is conducted on 350 corporate employees of Bangladesh for primary data using a structured questionnaire both online and offline. Subsequently, descriptive and regression analyses with correlation have been employed for hypotheses testing and model verification. The hypotheses have been accepted in regression analysis concluding that Social Networking Sites have both good and bad consequences on corporate people’s personal, social and corporate life. The findings help corporate executives, IT decision-makers, and knowledge workers comprehend the scopes and effects of Social Networking Sites in corporate environment and personal domain of life. Social Networking Sites impact the feelings and emotions of corporate people and enhance their job performance. On the other hand, it destroys quality time and becomes a threat to privacy. Sometimes, it diverts employees’ attention to ignore office work. Both positive and negative aspects of Social Networking Sites have been investigated, providing a critical analysis of the research. Therefore, moderate usage of Social Networking Sites balances corporate employees' personal, social, and professional life. en_US
